As a leading event in the packaging and intralogistics industry, ALLFORPACK EMBALLAGE PARIS serves as a showcase for new products and services aimed at the sector. It is with this mission in mind that the trade fair has launched the 2027 edition of the ALLFORPACK INNOVATIONS AWARDS, which identifies, selects and recognises the sector’s most innovative solutions.

Products, machines, services and processes: these innovations reflect changing uses, market expectations and industrial challenges, brought together in one place to give professionals a concrete view of the most advanced solutions the sector has to offer.

A concentration of innovation, an opportunity for exhibitors

Each edition of ALLFORPACK EMBALLAGE PARIS highlights the major transformations shaping the industry. The ALLFORPACK INNOVATIONS AWARDS extend this ambition by giving companies a platform in front of packaging decision-makers. For an exhibitor, entering an innovation in the competition is a way to showcase expertise, gain visibility and position itself as a key player in the sector’s transformation.

For visitors, the value is just as direct. The ALLFORPACK INNOVATIONS AWARDS offer the opportunity to discover, in one place, the most significant advances in packaging and processing, explore emerging trends and meet the players shaping the packaging of tomorrow.

Four themes aligned with the industry’s challenges

In 2027, the ALLFORPACK INNOVATIONS AWARDS are structured around 4 major themes, designed to reflect innovation dynamics and help everyone quickly identify the areas most relevant to their own business challenges.

The first, Reinvent, brings together innovations that optimise packaging functionality and performance throughout its life cycle, from artificial intelligence and data to smart packaging, safety and information delivery. The second, Regenerate, covers solutions that reduce the environmental impact of packaging and support the ecological transition, including reduction, reuse, recycling, recycled content and bio-based materials. The third, Shine, highlights innovations that strengthen packaging appeal and customer experience, from structural and graphic design to service and practicality.

The fourth, Machines and Industrial Efficiency, recognises advances that bring greater efficiency to tools and processes used to manufacture packaging and packaged products, in areas such as productivity, energy savings, space optimisation and adaptability.

From pre-selection to the Pack Expert Committee: a rigorous selection process

The innovations submitted are not selected at random. The show describes a multi-stage selection process, combining a pre-selection phase, an international press jury and final validation by the Pack Expert Committee, made up of industry professionals. The press jury brings together editors-in-chief from the French and international specialist press, including, at the previous edition, titles such as Emballages Magazine, Emballage Digest, Voxlog and, internationally, COM.PACK and ITALIAIMBALLAGGIO. This combination of editorial perspectives and hands-on industry expertise is designed to ensure the relevance of the solutions showcased.

Finalists showcased in the Ruptures Créatives area

During the show, the finalist and award-winning innovations will be brought together in the Ruptures Créatives area, designed as a concentrated showcase of innovation dedicated to discovering the sector’s most notable solutions. The visitor journey is interactive: after exploring the area, professionals can vote for their favourite innovation. The space also echoes the major French and international innovation competitions organised by the show’s partners, making it a privileged vantage point for observing the trends shaping the industry across Europe.

Highlights of the 2024 edition

To give a concrete sense of the diversity of the solutions recognised, the show highlighted the winners of the 2024 edition of ALLFORPACK INNOVATIONS. In the Recycling category, Mondi (a Mondi Group brand) was recognised for a protective solution designed for parcel shipping. The Reduction category rewarded PACKSIZE GMBH - On Demand Packaging® X5®. In the Reuse category, RAJA - RE-ZIP reusable packaging was selected. The Functionality and Use category recognised SEALED AIR SAS - Korrvu® Rapid Fix - retention packaging system, while the Industrial Efficiency category highlighted SCREEN EUROPE - Truepress PAC 830F. Finally, the Innovative Materials category recognised two solutions: Releaf Paper - Dead Leaf Box and Novatec Industry - SEP Seal Eco Paper Filter.

This list of winners illustrates the breadth of the competition’s scope, from recycling to industrial efficiency, including reuse, functionality and future-facing materials. It also shows how very concrete challenges — protecting a parcel, reducing packaging volume, reusing a container or designing a material from dead leaves — are being addressed by companies of all sizes and nationalities.

Apply or discover the innovations
